WHY haven’t we done this before?
That’s what hubby L. asked after our first soak in Apache, a private outdoor pool located on the Rio Grande River.
This Riverbend spa room is one of four private pools at Riverbend Hot Springs in Truth or Consequences.
The other private pools go by the names of Navajo, Tewa, and Zuni.
Each of the four pools is named in honor of some of New Mexico’s earliest residents. And each provides a scenic and affordable way to pamper yourself while taking in the state’s natural beauty.
Riverbend has public pools as well, but these private pools give you an exceptional experience because they’re so cozy and well, private.
So, yes, clothing is optional.
Discover, as I have, how sweet it can be to unwind and commune with nature and your favorite person in the outdoors.
Even if your favorite person happens to be you.
So go ahead and reserve one or two (or more!) consecutive soaks for yourself. A single soak costs $30 and gets you 50-minutes in a room.
And I recommend you reserve a soak time that allows you to take in the New Mexico sunset ~ for obvious reasons!
Speaking of New Mexico sunsets, check out this beautiful photo of a New Mexico sunset about to happen.
